I've been teaching this exploratory on humor. Some days its funny. Some days, not so much. The end of term project is a silent movie. We watched a lot of silent movie clips- both modern and old. They were ready. I gave them a lot of freedom.
And boy oh boy- what results! Each group had to write it up, draw a storyboard, and bring the props. And today we filmed.Two Malaysian girls that are fasting made a CAKE to use in theirs. A piece had to be smushed in another kid's face.
Eh- let's be honest- to a 12 year old kid- thats funny!
