I've just returned from the grocery store. It's an expat place, where we pay ridiculous prices for foods that in our past lives we could buy anywhere. for cheap!I was really excited to see the stockboy arranging frozen Butterball turkeys in the freezer. Hurray! It's that time of year!
I shimmied in for a glance at the price. For your sake, I have done the conversions. The price of one 12.35 lb frozen Butterball turkey? .... .... ... ...
$151.75!!!!!
For that price, I am really happy I have been invited to someone else's Thanksgiving dinner! Ha!
Good Grief, I have not been to the store to get my turkey.. If it is that expensive..we will have cheese sandwiches..
